Google Reviews Now Displaying Customer-Generated Images

Quality images play an integral role when researching products and companies online. As such, it comes as no surprise that Google will begin to show customer-generated images on Google reviews.

Currently only available in the United States, clients and customers can now upload images of the pool products you sell, of the custom water features you create, of the above ground pool you provided them with and the elaborate inground poolscape you designed.

Larger pool and spa firms may be able to take advantage of this new feature immediately as there is a 50 product review requirement. There are tactics you can start to employ today, however, to increase the number of reviews being left on Google for your pool company.

Create a Google Review URL

The easiest way to get reviews is to provide your clients with a link that will take them directly to where they need to go. Here’s how you can get the link:

  • Search for your pool and spa company on Google
  • Once located, click on the “Write a Review” button below your company’s information (this will appear on the right-hand side of the Google search results)
  • When on the review page, copy and paste the URL at the top of that page

It’s also useful to shorten the URL using a URL shortening service like Bitly.

Send a Personalized Email Asking for a Google Review

A lot of clients won’t think to leave a Google review for your pool company. Sending a personalized email stating the importance of leaving a review and giving easy-to-follow steps on how to go about doing so will help.

Ask for Google Reviews On Your Company Website

Another easy way to request a review is to leave instructions on how to do so on your website. Alternatively, you can create a blog post detailing what clients can do to leave a review.
